The Originals Tee is a history piece honoring the Black artists who helped build the foundation of rock & roll, rock stardom, soul, and modern popular music. The white colorway is finished with a light dirty wash, creating subtle age and discoloration throughout the body. The faded graphic treatment gives the artwork the character of an old concert tee that has been worn and preserved over time.

The back tells the story directly. BLACK ROCK STARS introduces a tribute to pioneers including Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Bo Diddley, and Fats Domino—artists whose sound, style, performance, gospel roots, distortion, rhythm, and rebellion helped shape what rock & roll became. “Rock didn’t start loud—it started free.” The Originals Tee is about recognition and giving flowers to the Black artists at the foundation of a musical and cultural movement that changed the world.
